OVERVIEW
This website (insidecapitalmarkets.com) and the Inside Capital Markets Training Program, including all information, tools, courses, community features, and other services made available through it (collectively, the "Services"), are operated by Inside Capital Markets Inc. ("Inside Capital Markets," "we," "us," or "our").
Inside Capital Markets offers the Services to you, the user, on your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated in these Terms of Service ("Terms").
By visiting our site, enrolling in a free preview, or purchasing the Training Program, you engage in our Services and agree to be bound by these Terms, including any additional terms and policies referenced here or available by hyperlink, such as our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, prospective students, enrolled students, and community members.
Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using the Services. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access the site or use the Services.
We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
SECTION 1 — WEBSITE AND ENROLLMENT TERMS
By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your province, state, or country of residence, or that you have a parent or legal guardian's consent to use the Services.
You may not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, and you may not, in your use of the Services, violate any laws in your jurisdiction, including copyright and privacy laws.
You must not transmit any worms, viruses, or code of a destructive nature.
A breach of any of these Terms may result in immediate termination of your access to the Services.
SECTION 2 — GENERAL CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to refuse enrollment or service to anyone, for any reason, at any time.
With the exception of payment information, which is encrypted and processed by our third-party payment processor, you understand that content you submit may be transferred unencrypted and may involve transmission over various networks.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or otherwise exploit any portion of the Services — including course lessons, case study files, templates, and community content — without our express written permission.
Headings used in these Terms are included for convenience only and do not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
SECTION 3 — ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION
We are not responsible if information made available through the Services is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Course content, examples, and case studies are provided for educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional, financial, legal, or career advice, or as a guarantee of any particular career or interview outcome.
We reserve the right to modify the content of the Services at any time, and we have no obligation to update any information once posted.
SECTION 4 — MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICES AND PRICES
Prices for the Training Program and any related products are subject to change without notice, and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.
We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Services.
SECTION 5 — COURSE ACCESS AND COMMUNITY
The Training Program, including any free preview lessons, is provided for your individual, personal, non-commercial use. Access is granted to you personally and may not be shared, transferred, resold, or used by any other person.
Where the Services include access to a community, live Q&As, office hours, or similar group features, participation is subject to reasonable community guidelines, and we may remove content or restrict access for conduct we determine, in our reasonable discretion, to be abusive, disruptive, or in violation of these Terms.
We do not warrant that any particular feature (including but not limited to webinars, live sessions, or bonus resources) will be available at all times, though we will make reasonable efforts to keep the Services described accurately on our site.
SECTION 6 — ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information, including your email address and payment details, so that we can complete your enrollment and contact you as needed. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where we suspect fraud or abuse.
SECTION 7 — THIRD-PARTY TOOLS AND PLATFORMS
The Services are delivered in part through third-party platforms, including our course-hosting provider and our email service provider. We do not control these tools and provide access to them "as is," without warranty of any kind. Your use of any optional third-party tool linked from the Services is at your own risk, and you should review the relevant third party's own terms and privacy policy.
SECTION 8 — THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or social media platforms that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party site, and any dealings you have with a third party are solely between you and that third party.
SECTION 9 — USER COMMENTS, FEEDBACK, AND COMMUNITY CONDUCT
If you provide feedback, suggestions, questions, or comments related to the Services ("Feedback"), we may use that Feedback without restriction or obligation to you.
You agree that any comments, testimonials, or content you post through the Services (including in the community) will not violate any third party's rights, will not be unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or obscene, and will not contain malicious code. You are solely responsible for content you post, and we may, but are not obligated to, monitor, edit, or remove content we determine in our reasonable discretion to violate these Terms.
SECTION 10 — PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your submission of personal information through the site and the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at insidecapitalmarkets.com/privacy-policy.
SECTION 11 — ERRORS, INACCURACIES, AND OMISSIONS
Occasionally the Services may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to course descriptions, pricing, or promotions. We reserve the right to correct these at any time without prior notice, including after an order has been submitted.
SECTION 12 — PROHIBITED USES
In using the Services, you agree that you will not, directly or indirectly:
• use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, or in a way that infringes any person's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
• share, resell, sublicense, or distribute your course access or any course materials, including lesson videos, case study files, or templates, to any third party;
• reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works from the Services in order to build a competitive product;
• attempt to circumvent any access restrictions built into the Services;
• upload or transmit any malicious code, including viruses or worms;
• harass, threaten, or post defamatory, obscene, or abusive content toward us, our staff, or other students in the community; or
• use any automated process (bot, scraper, or similar) to access or copy content from the Services without our prior written consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services for violating any of the above.
SECTION 13 — DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
We do not guarantee that your use of the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, and we do not warrant that any particular result — including career, interview, or income outcomes — will be obtained from your use of the Services.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no case shall Inside Capital Markets Inc., its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, or contractors be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services, including lost profits or lost data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
SECTION 14 — INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Inside Capital Markets Inc. and our officers, directors, agents, contractors, and employees from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.
SECTION 15 — SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed, and it will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
SECTION 16 — TERMINATION
These Terms remain in effect unless and until terminated by you or us. You may stop using the Services at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access if, in our reasonable judgment, you fail to comply with any term of these Terms, without prejudice to any amounts already owed. Obligations that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 13, 14, and 18) will survive.
SECTION 17 — ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any policies referenced here, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services, superseding any prior agreements or communications. Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to do so later.
SECTION 18 — GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
SECTION 19 — CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting the revised version on this page. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
SECTION 20 — REFUND POLICY
We want you to be confident in your purchase. If you are not satisfied with the Training Program, you may request a full refund within seven (7) calendar days of your original purchase date by emailing us at [email protected] with your order details.
Refund requests made after this seven (7) day window will not be granted, except where required by applicable law. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within a reasonable time.
We reserve the right to decline a refund request where we reasonably believe it is fraudulent or abusive, such as repeated purchase-and-refund of the same product by the same person.
This refund policy applies to paid purchases only. Free preview access carries no charge and is therefore not eligible for a refund.
SECTION 21 — CONTACT INFORMATION
Questions about these Terms should be sent to us at [email protected].
