Inside Capital Markets Inc. ("Inside Capital Markets," "we," "us," or "our") operates insidecapitalmarkets.com and the Inside Capital Markets Training Program delivered through it (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. We are a Canadian business, and this Policy is intended to reflect our obligations under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. What information we collect and what we do with it
When you sign up for a free preview lesson, purchase the Training Program, join our email list, or participate in our community, we collect personal information such as your name and email address. If you make a purchase, our payment processor collects your payment details directly — we do not store your full payment card information ourselves.
We also automatically collect certain technical information, such as your device type, browser type, and how you interact with our site and course platform, to help us understand and improve the Services.
2. How we get your consent, and how you can withdraw it
When you provide personal information to enroll in a free preview, make a purchase, or otherwise use the Services, you consent to our collecting and using it for that specific purpose.
Where we ask for personal information for a secondary purpose, such as marketing, we will either ask for your express consent or give you a clear way to opt out.
If you change your mind after opting in, you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
3. Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose it: to the service providers described below, to the extent necessary for them to perform services on our behalf; if required by law, such as in response to a court order, subpoena, or investigation; or in connection with a business transition, as described in Section 9 below.
4. Payment
Purchases made through the Services are processed by our course-hosting platform and its integrated third-party payment processor(s) (such as Stripe or PayPal). Payment information is encrypted in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), and your transaction data is retained only as long as necessary to complete and support your purchase.
5. Third-party services
We rely on third-party providers to deliver the Services, including a course-hosting platform to deliver lessons, manage enrollment, and host our community; an email service provider to send course and marketing communications; and a payment processor to handle purchases. These providers only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to perform their services for us, and each maintains its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.
Some of these providers, or their servers, may be located outside Canada, including in the United States. If so, your personal information may become subject to the laws of that jurisdiction while in their custody, including lawful requests for disclosure by government authorities there.

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or social platforms (for example, Instagram or YouTube). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with information.
6. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to help ensure your personal information is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. Payment information you provide is encrypted by our payment processor using industry-standard methods. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies
Our website and course platform may use cookies or similar tracking technologies to recognize your device, remember your preferences, and measure how visitors engage with our content, including which marketing sources bring people to our site. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies; some features of the Services may not work properly without them. Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to browser "Do Not Track" signals, we do not currently alter our practices in response to them.
Web analytics
We may use analytics tools, including those built into our course-hosting platform and social media platforms, to collect anonymized, aggregate information about how visitors use our site and content.
7. Age of consent
By using the Services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your province, state, or country of residence, or that you have your parent or legal guardian's consent to use the Services.
8. Your rights, and how to reach us
You may ask us to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, ask a question about how your information is used, or register a complaint, by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable time, consistent with our obligations under PIPEDA.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after an update is posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
If Inside Capital Markets Inc. is acquired by, merges with, or transfers substantially all of its assets to another company, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy or a substantially similar one.
